Internet Lodge Short Papers Competition

Call for Papers, 2008

Do you have a topic of Masonic relevance that would make an interesting five minute talk? You have until the 31st of December 2008 to turn it into a 500 word script of educational value and we would be very pleased to receive it. The competition is open to everyone from any fraternal organisation, anywhere in the world.

Short Papers Competiton, Awards 2007

The MWBro the Pro Grand Master, who is the Sponsor for the competition, was present at a special "white table" event at Freemasons' Hall, Bridge Street, Manchester, on the evening of Friday 14th March 2008. He presented the following prizes in the 2007 competition

Northampton Award

The main award which is for the paper which the Judges consider to be the best of all those sumbitted. The winner is Bro. Alan Bergin from Spain seen above right with Lord Northampton.

World Award

The best short paper by a Mason who is not a member of a Lodge under UGLE. The winner is Bro. Karen Kidd from the U.S.A seen above left with Lord Northampton.

Nova Award

The best paper by a Brother who has been a member of the Craft for less than five years and has not been a Master of a Lodge. The winner is Bro. Michael Halleran from the U.S.A.

The next Regular Meeting of Internet Lodge will be held at the Brockenhurst Masonic Centre, Grigg Lane, Brockenhurst, Hampshire SO42 7PG at 12.00 noon on Saturday 11th October 2008.
The main business of the meeting will be a double ceremony of raising.
