Internet Lodge celebrated its Twentieth Anniversary on 29th January 2018. See here for more.
A very warm welcome to you as you visit the pages of the Internet Lodge No. 9659 Web site.
You may or may not have come to this our Lodge as a matter of “Browsing” or research?
We are a “Regular” Lodge under the regime of the United Grand Lodge of England, under whom we were consecrated in 1998. The founders of the Lodge were formed from and by brethren who were regular members of the UK Mason forum list and other Web forums.
Now the first or one of the first questions we are asked is “How do you meet on the WEB?”, the short answer is we don’t. We are regulated by the Grand Lodge of England and in full compliance with that governing power. We hold three regular (Physical) meetings a year with the Installation of the Master in March in Manchester and the start of our Masonic year. The other two meeting are normally the choice of the current Master, this Year 2018-19 I have meetings planned in Tamworth, Staffordshire in August, and Harrogate, Yorkshire in October where the Ladies festival will be held.
We now have almost 500 members and we continue to grow
Our members come from all over the world. We have members in every continent (excluding Antartica !). We have members in over 40 different countries including: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Grenada, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Lebanon, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Netherlands, Peru, The Philippines, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and the United States of America; as well as Scotland, Ireland and the Isle of Man and from all corners of England and Wales. We are pleased to publish an Introduction to English Freemasonry, which is based on an original idea by the Grand Lodge of Western Australia. It attempts to explain much about English Freemasonry and is particularly intended to be of help to Freemasons of different constitutions.
