After the festive board I will be presenting a talk on the “National Memorial Arboretum & the New Masonic garden of Remembrance”. Vicky and I were guides for many years at the NMA, from its infancy, starting off as weekend Gardners and bush and tree “trimmers” along with other tasks, then as volunteers in the main centre (i also drove the land train in the early days shouting commentary to the visitors whilst driving around the site (now DVD and CD commentary on the train).
Evening, rest and recharge those batteries.

The coach will get us to the Arboretum for 10:30 time to refresh and be there for the 11:00 service of remembrance in the Chapel. After the Chapel service and talk we will make our way to the “Land Train” for a guided tour of the site. Following lunch in the Gallery we will have a small service of Remembrance and a wreath laying. The rest of the afternoon until 16:30 is yours. We will return to the Hotel in Tamworth by coach and then say our fond farewells and relax looking forward to our next merry meeting in Harrogate in October.
