The lodge will meet in Barry, South Wales on the13th to 15th October 2017. This weekend will host our Ladies Festival.

From M4 take exit 33 for A4232, follow signs for A4050, then pass through 8 roundabouts, turn left onto Trinity Street, then turn right onto A4055/Broad Street. Continue for 0.2 miles and turn left for the Premier Inn.

On Friday night we will have an informal get together for dinner at the Brewers' Fayre adjoining the hotel.
A raised area will be set aside for our gathering with adequate disabled access.


The events on Saturday will take place the Barry Masonic Hall.

There will be a lodge practice at 10:00 a.m.

We will have a buffet lunch at 12:00 noon at a cost of £10.00 consisting of

Lodge will open at 1:00 p.m.The principal business will be a Tercentenary Celebration of the first meeting of UGLE 1717 enacted by the Monmouthshire enactment team

For the Ladies we have arranged a guided tour around the Welsh Heritage mueseum at St Fagan’s. In the 100-acre parkland of St Fagans Castle, a late 16th-century manor house, are over 30 buildings moved from various parts of Wales and re-erected to show how our forefathers lived, the old Oakdale workingman’s institute was one of the places frequented by Roy Morris 45 years ago before it was taken down stone by stone 1987 and transported and rebuilt in the museum.

Transport will cost £10.00 and the tour will leave at 10:00 a.m. returning to the hotel at 4:00 p.m.

Should the weather be adverse then an alternative trip will be St. Davids shopping Centre Cardiff.
A Ladies festival will then be held at the Masonic Hall at 7:00 p.m.for dining at 7:30 p.m..
