WM It is a great privilege to serve the Internet Lodge as its 14th Master. We are an international lodge, with members from all continents, encompassing 30 different countries and 76 Grand Lodge jurisdictions. We are a regular lodge under the United Grand Lodge of England, but we are also a very special lodge. While we meet physically three times per year in various locations in England, much of our work between meetings takes place on line, via our e-mail list and this web site. It has been said that "you get more Freemasonry in a week in this lodge than you can get in a year in a conventional lodge". Our members are in daily contact to do projects together, to help one another, to discuss Masonry or just to socialize.

Meeting locations are chosen each year by the incoming Worshipful Master, and for 2011, our meetings will be held in:

  • Manchester, Bridge Street Masonic Hall for installation on Saturday March 19 2011
  • Berkeley, a tiny town with a huge history in the English West Country, which has given its name to cities, towns and places across the world. An English King was imprisoned and assassinated in its 11th-Century Castle, and it was the home of W.Bro. Dr. Edward Jenner, whose efforts in the service of man lead to the elimination of the scourge of Smallpox. The meeting on August 13th will also be the occasion of our annual Ladies Festival.
  • The Coventry Masonic Hall on October 8th, where the meeting will feature a demonstration of their unique First Degree by a demonstration team from the Province of Bristol

The year will also feature a visit to the Sir Winston Churchill Lodge in Minneapolis, where a number of Internet Lodge members will conduct a demonstration of UGLE ritual in the form of the Emulation Third Degree.
