W.Bro. Ben Allen (2015-2016)
Eighteenth Worshipful Master.
W.Bro. Ben Allen was presented to the Lodge as Master Elect by his father – also a member of the Lodge. Father also delivered the address to the Worshipful Master – his Brother, Companion and Son.
His year included a visit to the magnificent Freemasons Hall in Great Queen Street, London when members of the Connaught Club, members of which have to be 35years of age, or younger, gave a presentation on Masonic Innovations for the 21st Century.
The October meeting in Newcastle upon Tyne featured an excellent performance of a nineteenth-century raising by the Northumberland Masonic Demonstration team.
